Other Match-Ups to Watch:

Class 4 District 4
St. Mary sits pretty with a first round bye and will face the winner of Miller Career and Affton. The South Side Dragons should have an easy route into the state finals, with Gateway being the only team in their District who might be a problem. St. Mary features SLU-commit Yuri Collins, who has shown throughout the year why Billikens fans are excited to have him in blue and white next year. His explosive speed and basketball vision sets him above most. He’ll be one key player to watch this postseason.

Class 4 District 6
Defending class 4 champions Jennings enter postseason play 14-7, and, like St. Mary, receive a first round bye. The 4th seed Normandy face off against the 5th seed Greyhounds of Clayton for a close first round tilt that could go either way. Hazelwood East will be waiting for the winner of University City, and Riverview and East will be a hurdle for either team who claws their way out of their first round bout. Any team on this side of the bracket will have a tough time against Jennings.

Class 3 District 7
The 21-3 Trinity Titans face off against Sumner on Monday and should expect to be victorious and face either Duchesne or North Tech in the second round. Trinity has two regular season wins over Duchesne and if the Titans look like they did against Chaminade and Vashon, they shouldn’t have any trouble reaching the state bracket. The other side of the bracket sees Soldan International Studies making a deep run against Collegiate or Lutheran North. The class 3 district 7 championship should see Trinity and Soldan fight for a chance to reach state play.
