19 music videos to premiere at Lo-Fi Cherokee Premiere Party

GRAND CENTER – This Saturday, Lo-Fi Cherokee will host its 2019 Premiere Party at The Stage at KDHX, 3524 Washington Avenue.

Nineteen music videos will premiere at KDHX. All of the videos were shot at the annual Lo-Fi Cherokee event in April. Started in 2012, Lo-Fi invites 14 to 18 bands for an annual traveling event that takes place up and down Cherokee Street. Combining local businesses, music and social media, the Lo-Fi crew, and others who want to tag along, hop to various businesses in the area to film a music video for each participating band.

This year, participating bands and solo artists included Sorry Scout, Mammoth Piano, Mother Stutter and Soufside Jerei, along with a host of others.

Since that initial day in April, Bill Streeter, who runs the event, has been busy editing the videos to get them ready to premiere at the party on Saturday.

From there, the music videos will be released individually online twice a week over the next two months.

Tickets for the premiere are $10 and are available at https://www.eventbrite.com/. For more information about the event, check out https://www.facebook.com/events/360924511184204/.
